Driving in Kos

A compact vehicle or family-sized car is usually the best choice when driving in Kos – easy to manoeuvre and park in the tight spaces around the island.

Mobility and Traffic Rules

Driving here is on the right-hand side – the opposite of the UK. Furthermore, seatbelts are mandatory for everyone in the car. Speed limits generally are 50km/hour in towns, 90km/hour outside towns and 130km/hour on highways.
