There are several petrol stations near Salalah Airport, and notably, the cost of fuel in Oman is considerably cheaper than in the UK. Keep in mind that almost all stations in Oman are self-service.
Salalah Airport is well-connected to the city centre, which is about 16 km away. If you're planning on driving from the airport to the city centre, the fastest route is via the Sultan Qaboos Highway, the main highway connecting the city. There are also clear road signs in English; thus, navigating should be relatively stress-free.
